Housing ring to ref. 6850

S M C clock design
The most important design characteristics of my clocks (Name S M C) are to be seen in the expensive and heavy housings, which allow due to their strong housing walls quite different designs in contrast to simple metal frame housings.
Now it is the first time to realize these extraordinary housing designs in the wall clock`s branch. They are a real novelty because up to date they have not been realized due to high production costs. Further design features are the spaceous dimensions of dial plates, indicators and indices. Symmetrical and plain forms play an important role in my clock style.
All components of my clocks are produced in expensive single piece production by manual work, the housings, dial plates partly, the indices, the indicators, bores, clock glasses partly; except the clock movements.

Quality
My clocks are styled with great passion and later carefully manufactured in this sense. Due to their heavy and compact construction as well as their successful design these clocks are valuable.

Housings
The clock housings consist in general out of two parts, the housing ring and the case cover.

Materials
As raw material for my clock housings there is optionally used aluminium, brass or copper. Except the quartz movement no plastic parts are used.

Possibilities of galvanizing
For the clock housings there exist the following kinds of galvanizing :
- gold plating (fine gold and yellow gold)
- silver plating
- nickel plating
- platin plating
- rhodium plating

Dial plates
I offer metal dial plates with furnish of the following precious woods:
- mahagony
- walnut
- oak
- beech

Clock movements
As standard I use high quality quartz movements. On demand there can also be assembled (if suitable) :
- radio controlled movements
- synchronic movements
- mechanical movements

Manufacturing time
Depending on the clock`s type the manufacturing time varies between 10 and 30 working hours.

Suspension on the wall
I recommend to use dowel pins S6 or S8 for wall suspension, to be on the safe side, because of the considerable weights.

Weights
The weight of these metal wall clocks amount from 1,2 kg / pc up to 4,5 kg / pc.

Adjustment of indicators
On the reverse side of each clock there is located a hole. By means of a screw driver you can easily set the desired time.

Replacing battery cells
The casing cover is, depending on the type, fixed with two or three slotted screws M2. They should be solved, remove the casing cover, replace the battery cells and fasten the casing cover again.
